NAC Kuchinda is a Sub-Divisional headquarter town about 85 Kms from Sambalpur. This town is having a link with National Highway 49 (Chandikhol –Raipur) to Deogarh. The Nearest Railway station is Jharsuguda (45 Km) and Bamra (47Km). Kuchinda is located at 21.73°N 84.35°E. It has an average elevation of 220 metres (721 feet).
As of 2011 India census, Kuchinda had a population of 15,576. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kuchinda has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 60%.
